Cornflowers are hardy annuals that are adored by bees, butterflies, hoverflies and birds among others. Cornflowers are easy to grow so long as they are in a sunny position.
Cornflowers are fantastic cut flowers with a long vase life, cut blooms regularly to encourage more flowers.
Growing Guide
Sow direct from March to May, or from September - October for early Spring blooms.
Prepare your soil by removing weeds and rake to a fine tilth. Sow thinly.
Pick Cornflower blooms to encourage more flower production, the more you pick the more flowers are produced. Cornflowers self-seed readily.
